eGumball is a business-to-business company. Since 2007 we have helped local businesses get found on Google. As a Sales Opener, you are often the first eGumball voice a business owner hears. Your job is to understand what they need and connect them with the right Account Manager.

No sales experience is needed. We teach you how Google's map results work, what our services do, and how to talk with business owners about them.

Job Details

• Answer calls and inquiries from business owners who have asked about our services through our website, our demo page or our phone line.
• Ask the right questions: what the business does, where it serves customers, and whether it already has a Google Business Profile.
• Look up the business's profile with the owner and note what stands out, such as missing hours, an unclaimed listing or a suspended profile.
• Qualify interest, then pass warm leads to your Account Managers or book a ranking demonstration.
• Record every conversation accurately so the next person who speaks with the client knows the whole story.
• Represent eGumball honestly. Always identify yourself and the company, never claim to be Google, and honor every request not to be called, as our Do Not Call Policy requires.

Requirements

• No experience required.
• A professional, energetic phone manner.
• Team player attitude.
• Builds rapport quickly with busy business owners.
• Willingness to learn and grow toward an Account Manager role.

Training

Every Opener is trained on all of our services before taking calls, and receives two hours of additional training each week as Google changes.
